I'm doing a show-yet unpicked, for a friend, and i know ziltch about the band

I have 0 Los Lonely boys knowledge. Los Lobos on the other hand...

If you ain't been to see Los Lobos at the Fillmore, do it! They play great music, loud. Maybe a Hendrix or Beatles cover thrown into their already delicious repertoire.

amen about Los Lobos brother! I LOVE that band! Have seen them 4 or 5 times and each time was excellent. Oh and if you're talking covers - how about their Bertha?

Back in the napster days, I was grabbing such covers as, Rock n Roll Hoochi Coo(Rick Deringer) and One Way Out(Allmans). David Hidalgo vocals on One Way Out are excellent.
